Item not displaying in Purchase requisition lines (AX 2012 R3)

 

Dear Friends,

 

Today i came to experience while creating Purchase requisition using AX 2012 R3.

 

I am using Contoso demo, Item created and product category assigned. When creating purchase requisition line am not able to select the item i have created.

 

I have spent lot of time to find out the solution.

 

The solution is ,

 

 Step 1: Create the item and assign Product category.

 Step 2:  Procurement and resourcing >> Catalog >> Procurement Catelog

 

Step 3:  Edit the existing catelog (my case office supplies USMF)                                                         



            

Step 4: Check the item you are created in Product FastTab, it should be available and the display mode is "No".

 

Step 5: Click on the Publish catalog button. Now the display mode will be changed to "Yes".

 

Now try to add purchase requisition lines , you will see the item you added.
